Demon Sword Purgatory

This is an ensemble epic of sword cultivators in a fantasy world. In ancient times, when the myriad races lived together, a mysterious war broke out. Afterward, the Immortals monopolized the right to ascend, the Demons were sealed in the Demon Abyss, and the Yao were trapped on the Continent of Mythical Beasts. The races became enemies for generations, while the truth behind the war remained a mystery. Ling Tian, a boy with no spiritual root who was cast out by the Ling family, possesses a rare sword bone in an otherwise mortal body. At the Grave of Ten Thousand Swords, he awakens Purgatory, an ancient sword regarded by the world as a demonic blade. From then on, amid the power struggles between the Immortals, Demons, and Yao, he survives deadly trials at every level and meets fellow travelers such as Feng Wuya, Ye Linger, and Xuan Shuang. As he gradually uncovers the truth erased from history about the war of the myriad races, he vows to break the Immortals’ monopoly over the Heavenly Dao and forge a path where all races can coexist. In the end, he shatters the shackles of fate and challenges the Nine Heavens with his sword.
