All My Exotic Pets Have Gained Human Form! Why Bother with Blind Dates?

Chen Chen's twentieth blind date ends in failure!

He takes over Beast Box, an exotic pet shop that gets three customers a day, two of whom are just there to enjoy the air conditioning.

The shop is home to a bunch of oddballs: Zhang, the bearded dragon, acts like a retired bureaucrat and knows how to put anyone in their place; Wang, the parrot, quotes laws at every turn and is infamous throughout the province for his sharp tongue; Li, the hamster, is obsessed with hoarding food and keeps saying, “This deal isn't worth the money”; and Bai, the white snake, is as gentle as can be and specializes in counseling.

Chen Chen always thought they were just clever, until the night landlord Uncle Zhao put up a notice saying he was selling the shop. Then he heard a sigh from the shelves: “If this cat doesn't eat soon, something terrible is going to happen.”

Behind the cat's hunger strike is Zhao Xiaotang, driven to the brink by workplace abuse.

The dream team holds an emergency consultation through the night.

After an arbitration hearing, the company is ordered to pay eight months' wages.

From then on, Beast Box becomes the city's catchall for absurd cases.

But the more popular the shop gets, the stranger things become!
