After Lin Feng's father dies in a coastal foraging accident, his uncle's family seizes the chance to force him out with nothing, hoping to claim the entire inheritance. All they leave him is a shabby thatched hut. His childhood sweetheart breaks off their engagement, too. When Lin Feng and his brothers build the village's first three-story mansion, his former sweetheart and uncle's family kneel and beg him to take them in. Lin Feng says, "Get lost. Stay away from me!"
