Li Shuyao's motto in life is to take it easy. After all, her family has a bit of money.
Her family makes a living through business and keeps their heads down, but then disaster strikes: they're framed, their estate is confiscated, and the whole family is exiled! Everyone works hard and grits their teeth to stay alive.
Then she unexpectedly binds to an ocean survival game.
She braves the scorching sun, wind, and rain at sea, scavenges supplies, and survives challenge after deadly challenge, doing her best to stockpile food and water so her family can live a little better.
Until one day, she returns from a survival challenge to find her family brutally attacked!
In a moment of despair, Li Shuyao uses a game item she brought back to forcibly rewind time! She drags her family back from the gates of death!
That one rescue turns everything she thought she knew upside down!
Her gentle, aloof, hardworking, and long-suffering older sister
is actually a mighty cultivator whose cultivation was sealed!
Her frailty and mediocrity were never due to her constitution.
A villain stole her fortune when she was a child.
The whole family's wrongful conviction and exile were no accident, either. It was a long-planned attempt to wipe them out completely!
The ordinary odd stones she painstakingly earned by clearing challenges at sea and trading with other survival-game players
are actually top-grade spirit stones, worth a fortune in the cultivation world!
With spirit stones in hand, her sister breaks through the cultivation seal and her power soars.
As the truth is gradually uncovered, the sisters' strange fates and Li Shuyao's ability to travel between two worlds
prove to have been no coincidence from the start, but pieces in a carefully laid game of fate!
But so what? She has the ocean survival game and plenty of strange items. She can bring spirit stones back and help her sister become a mighty cultivator.
With her sister to rely on, what are these plots and schemes to her? And as for the survival game, sorry, I'm cultivating immortality!
