Cao Wei has a secret.
He's not a disciple of the Demon Sect.
He's an undercover agent for the righteous path.
The plan was simple:
Infiltrate the Demon Sect, gather intelligence, then return in glory once the mission was over.
But who could have expected…
After ten years undercover, he had become the Demon Sect's top favorite to become its next Holy Son.
The Demon Sect's Holy Maiden called him Senior Brother.
The sect elders treated him like their own son.
Even the Demon Sect disciples thought…
Cao Wei was definitely more like an evil cultivator than any of them.
Then, one day,
his identity token shattered.
The only elder who knew his identity was gone.
And word of his undercover mission reached the Demon Sect's upper ranks.
Demon Sect disciple: "Senior Brother, now there's only the two of us left."
Cao Wei: "…"
Demon Sect disciple: "I have a feeling I might be the undercover agent."
Cao Wei: "…"
