As a hardcore fan who only plays anime-themed card decks and tries to recreate iconic scenes from the shows, how amazing would it be to witness the later duels of protagonists from every era with my own eyes?
I lost.
My deck is bloated and weird.
My card effects are cramped and outdated.
My restrictions are obscure and outrageous.
My build can’t compete in tournaments.
I’ve got plenty of dead draws, and I still have to run them.
My combos need ten cards from the Extra Deck.
My boss monsters are fragile and harmless.
My fallback plays are laughable and pathetic.
My cards wouldn’t sell for five cents.
That’s what Duel Spirits often say. But if you don’t run too many hand traps, don’t have reliable negates, and don’t play FTK decks, the duels are just so much more fun to watch.
