When Zhuo Yan wakes up, there is a black identity card in his hand.
Identity: Villain's Enforcer.
Mission: Enter The Ladder to the Clouds and eliminate thirteen traitors.
This is a rule-based game with thirteen levels. Each time he clears a level, he gains a piece of the truth. Each time he fails, he loses a memory of his real life.
To survive and reach the top, Zhuo Yan begins deceiving, betraying, and exploiting everyone.
He looks more and more like a true villain.
But when the first person he “eliminated” reappears outside the game, Zhuo Yan realizes that the so-called traitors aren't traitors, and the so-called game isn't a game.
At the end of the thirteen-level ladder, the one waiting for him isn't an exit, but his master, Zhao Wan, who died many years ago.
There is only one name among the players who clear the fourteenth level: Zhuo Yan.
