The Blade Above the Word 'Lust': Who Hasn't Been Cut by It?

I have a twin brother. Although we are fraternal twins, when we were little, outsiders could hardly tell which of us was the older brother and which was the younger.

One afternoon when we were eight, our mother took us to a field beside the highway to weed and fertilize the corn.

When we had finished more than half the field, she realized we were short on fertilizer, so she went back to get some more.

My brother and I were playing on the highway when a beat-up van suddenly pulled up beside us. Several men with vicious faces got out.

Some of them were carrying knives.

My brother sensed something was wrong and shoved me down the hillside, desperately shouting for me to run.

And just like that, they took him away.
