Wasteland: I Became the Mayor of Ashen Town

After the great cataclysm, the old world collapsed, and the Northern Wastelands became radioactive ruins.

Every winter, waves of mutated beasts head south to devour people. The Steel City in the north hoards its troops and steadily invades southward. Caught between these two threats, the border town of Ashen Town is in constant danger and is widely regarded as a death trap.

Chen Ye, the mayor of Ashen Town, leads a group of survivors in a desperate fight to stay alive.

He repairs the walls, smelts iron, and builds firearms, driving back the Steel City's vanguard and enduring a once-in-a-century winter beast tide. He unites the four towns, establishes alliances, and restores farming, gradually turning the battered border towns into the safest survivor stronghold in the southern wasteland.

As the old world's ruins are discovered one after another in the Red Zones, the secrets of the biological controllers and the Ark Project slowly come to light.

Chen Ye understands that defending the town is only the beginning. Deep in the mists of the Northern Wastelands lie the ultimate truth of the old world and humanity's only path to survival.
