Demon Suppression Bureau: From the Start, I Devoured Half-Demon Blood

Shen Ye, a bone collector at the very bottom of the Demon Suppression Bureau, is unexpectedly recognized as master by the remnant soul of an ancient demon ancestor. He gains the power to devour demon blood and reproduce demonic arts. Ten years ago, his father was falsely accused of colluding with demons by Deputy Chief Pei Xuanji and executed. The Bureau secretly extracts the bloodlines of powerful demons to create half-demon puppets. Shen Ye fights his way from the Hall of White Bones into the demon prison, then from the borderlands back to the imperial court, using demonic power to overturn the human order. But every time he devours demon blood, the demon ancestor's remnant soul awakens further, bringing the threat of possession ever closer. Before he is devoured, he must clear his father's name and carve out a path for everyone who has been trampled underfoot.
