Journey to the West: Is It Really So Much to Ask Demons to Work Four Days and Rest Three?

Overworked office drone Lin Xiaofeng wakes up as Little Drill Wind, a minor demon patrolling Lion Camel Ridge.

"The king told me to patrol the mountain"?

No. From today on, it's "The king is begging me to come to work"!

He awakens the [Three Realms Labor Agency System]: take a cut from assigned jobs, earn merit by mediating disputes, and raise wages through strikes!

He organizes the little demons into collective bargaining, forcing the Third King to sign the "Eight-Hour Workday for Mountain Patrols";

He leads the spirits of Pingding Mountain in banding together to take civil service exams, driving the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals into a collective overtime frenzy;

He siphons off merit from Spirit Mountain's provident fund to pay the demons workers' compensation and set up retirement homes, infuriating the Arhats.

Sun Wukong claps him on the shoulder. "Brother, I went to fetch the scriptures as a wage slave. You're helping every demon wage slave in the Three Realms turn their lives around!"

The Jade Emperor is getting a headache, Tathagata can't sleep, and Guanyin is revising the recruitment notice late into the night.

Lin Xiaofeng has only one ultimate goal:

To make Tathagata Buddha personally sign the "Three Realms Demon Labor Protection Law"!
