A possessive young dragon-mermaid heiress and a cool, sharp-tongued older shark-mermaid woman
One disguises herself as a man, while the other pretends to be blind. But just when Duan Tingyue is eagerly looking forward to curing the other's blindness, Luo Xiaowan's secret identity is exposed, and she vanishes without a trace.
After that, Duan Tingyue vows that when they meet again, she'll make sure to get revenge and give her a hard time.
But once Luo Xiaowan learns that Duan Tingyue is disguised as a man, she dislikes Duan Tingyue just as much as Duan Tingyue dislikes her.
And so the two become bitter rivals who can't stand the sight of each other.
Yet watching Duan Tingyue's childish attempts at revenge, Luo Xiaowan finds them both ridiculous and adorable.
Duan Tingyue's feigned possessiveness crumbles again and again under Luo Xiaowan's genuine restraint.
