My Brother Told Me to Watch Out for the Blonde, So I Turned Around and Kept His Buddy

[Dual secret identities + extreme contrast + top-tier green-tea CEO + hilarious romantic battlefield + sweet flirtation]

Wen Shuyao is the overlooked, easygoing second daughter of the Wen family. To avoid the schemes of the wealthy, she falls for a handsome face on impulse and takes in a down-and-out hottie who claims to have a failing business and no choice but to rely on others. He's also her brother's best friend, the kind who'd share a pair of pants with him.

Her sweet, considerate boyfriend cooks for her, wears twenty-yuan white T-shirts, and tearfully tells her that his family excludes him and his pay gets docked at work.

Wen Shuyao showers him with money every day: “It's just rent and a designer watch, right? Put it on my card! I'll take care of you!”

Little does she know that this clingy, gentle “puppy” takes off his apron and turns right back into the terrifying top financial magnate who rules Beijing's elite circles, Huo Jinchuan, the ruthless king of the business world!

By day, President Huo coldly orders the destruction of a rival's business empire from a hundred-story skyscraper.

By night, he wears an apron worth just a few dozen yuan in a shabby rental apartment and pouts, “Sis, the landlord raised the rent again. Please kiss and cuddle me~”

Then, on New Year's Eve, Wen Shuyao's older brother, Wen Tingye, kicks down the door, brandishing pepper spray and ready to beat up the blond freeloader who's been scamming his little sister.

Seeing his sworn brother, whom he'd trust with his life, wearing a kitty apron and clinging to his sister, the CEO's entire worldview collapses on the spot:

“Huo Jinchuan! You're worth hundreds of billions, and you came here to scam my sister out of her 30,000-yuan monthly allowance?!”

Wen Shuyao turns around in shock. “What? You said you were a male model who'd gone bankrupt!”

Huo Jinchuan immediately drops to his knees, eyes red, and grabs her leg. “Honey, let me explain. He's slandering me!”
