Shun Heng, the genius illusionist of Yaohua Immortal Mountain, was assigned an urgent task by her superior: use her illusions to punish Yu Liu, the Butterfly Immortal Lord who had rebelled against his superiors, trapping him in painful visions and making him relive them over and over until he could no longer endure it and begged for mercy. Using her extraordinary illusion arts, Shun Heng spun one tragic romance after another for him. As she watched him sink into a sea of suffering, she unexpectedly developed strange feelings for him. She could not bear to see him suffer; her heart ached for him, and she stood against the Immortal Realm's rejection and abuse of him. It seemed that beyond the illusions, she had also begun a tragic romance of her own.
