Xu Zhao takes over a rundown sect for three spirit stones, with the sitting sect master thrown in for free.
The sect master is a goose.
The roof leaks, and it does nothing. The sect is short on money at month's end, and it does nothing. But when there's too little spirit grain in its food, it chases Xu Zhao around the courtyard.
Luckily, Xu Zhao has a Spirit-Siphoning Coin. He can draw the medicinal power from spent pills and the sharpness from broken swords, putting other people's unwanted junk to good use.
He picks up trash while cultivating, and along the way, he gets Little Green Mountain back on its feet.
Later, the neighboring sect's leader comes knocking.
