The Noble Lady Is Still Trying to Survive Today

[Two Male Leads] [One-on-One Romance] [Secret Crush]

Yi Qinglian had spent many years enjoying the incense offerings at someone else's temple. Perhaps his life had been too comfortable: he had a dream he hated. To stop himself from dreaming again, he decided to keep busy. So, like the other local earth deities, he started earning merit on his own to feed himself. But on his very first attempt, he met Wenren Du. The more time they spent together, the more they felt fate had brought them together, so they decided to earn merit together from then on.

But while they were earning merit, someone kept trying to expose his identity. Again and again, he had to cover it up, swearing that he would never let Wenren Du learn who he really was, lest he lose his only friend.

A thousand years ago, Wenren Du was nothing more than a wandering soul. No one remembered him, and no one burned incense for him, so the other spirits were always bullying him. Then one day, the most famous deity in the Shangchen Realm, a lofty and noble god of exalted birth, stood up for him. From that moment on, Wenren Du fell for him at first sight. He trained with all his might, hoping to reach the Shangchen Realm one day and become a humble soldier by the god's side. Even if all he could do was take a blade for him, that would be enough. But fate was cruel: the noble god fell into the mortal world. Wenren Du could only follow him day after day, and in doing so, saw another side of him, one that broke his heart.

But as they earned merit, they stumbled upon a conspiracy capable of overturning all four realms...
