Lin Nan transmigrates and becomes a "quiet" patient at Qingshan Psychiatric Hospital. He thinks his life will consist of eating, sleeping, taking his medication, and bragging with a bunch of amusing fellow patients. Then a string of murders by the "Theater Phantom" shocks the city, and the police are at a loss. In a sealed, top-secret file, newly appointed police chief Qin Shuang finds their only hope: a legendary criminal-investigation expert codenamed Judge. But when Qin Shuang walks into the psychiatric hospital, she discovers that the legend who can see through people's hearts is Lin Nan himself, holding a cat and muttering that the cat told him who the killer is! The entire police force thinks he's crazy. Only Qin Shuang is utterly stunned after witnessing Lin Nan accurately predict the next crime scene with his raving nonsense!
