Why Did All My Subordinates Go Dark After I Quit the Game?

[Top] [Everyone's Favorite] [Rivalry for His Affection]

Shen Zhixing was once a top player in a hardcore strategy game about building a civilization.

To perfect the game, he personally raised four capable subordinates: the Federation's First Minister, a Legion Commander, a Grand Archbishop, and a space pirate chief.

They managed the Federation for him, expanded its territory, spread divine decrees for him, and did all his dirty work.

On the day he beat the game, he coldly pulled the plug and quit.

Three years later, Shen Zhixing opened his eyes and discovered he had transmigrated into that game world, now on the brink of destruction.

With the world's god gone, the four divine servants he had personally trained had all gone mad.

Losing their god had turned them into a tyrant, a mad dog, a fanatical believer, and an obsessive lunatic, all ready to take the entire universe down with them.

And he had become the only ordinary human in the universe, powerless to fight, but naturally endowed with an "aura that soothes the divine."

He could leave only by clearing the divine servants' corruption levels.

Shen Zhixing thought he could keep his head down and stay alive, until...

The Federation's First Minister locked him in a sterile isolation pod. "Your Majesty, the outside world is far too dangerous. All you need to do is sleep peacefully where I can see you."

The Legion Commander used military regulations to bind him to a private starship. "If anyone dares look at you for too long, I'll gouge out their eyes! You are my supreme commander!"

The Grand Archbishop confined him under the pretext of a religious ritual. "God is pure. How could the hands of you mortals be worthy of touching him?"

The space pirate chief climbed in through the window in the middle of the night, eyes red, and bundled himself into bed. "You were so ruthless when you told me to kill people. How did you get so delicate now?"

Shen Zhixing: "..."

I'm just a player who wants to retire. Don't come near me!!!
