[Urban High Martial Arts + Divine Mystery + Supernatural Dungeons + Ensemble Cast]
Eighteen years ago, the sky fractured and twelve gods descended, protecting cities with their divine realms. From then on, humans received a divine pact at eighteen and awakened their sigil patterns.
On the day of the pact, the teacher calling out names skipped Gu Ye twice in a row. When he finally placed his hand on the pact stele, all twelve divine statues turned their heads at once. Behind them, an unnumbered black throne had appeared.
His younger sister, Gu Xiaoman, missing for three years, was chained to it.
“Don't accept their power.”
“None of the twelve are gods.”
“Brother, don't come looking for me.”
After the ceremony, household records, school records, photographs, even his parents' memories all proved that the Gu family had only ever had one child, and that Baihe District had never existed in Linjiang City.
Yet Gu Ye acquired an unregistered sigil pattern called “Name Stripping.” He could see the names that had been altered, and strip them away.
The price was that with every use, reality remembered a little less about him.
To bring his sister and the erased Baihe back, Gu Ye ventured into cities that did not exist on any map. He soon discovered that these so-called supernatural dungeons were real places erased from human history, and that the so-called Twelve True Gods were hiding a secret more ancient than the calamity itself.
What are the twelve gods trying to erase: one girl, or the evidence that the entire world once existed?
The author's subject matter and ideas are acceptable, but the language is too concise and lacks description of the atmosphere similar to the environment. It's not bad, I know it's good, it can be better. Just like eating, it is easy to chew, eat, swallow and digest. If anything is missing, it's not a good meal.
It is definitely a good book with potential. I hope the author can continue to update it. Excellent works are always produced slowly.
