Three Souls Stir Up Trouble in Journey to the West

[Journey to the West Fanfic] [No Romance] [Ensemble Power Fantasy] [Subversive] [No Forced Dumbing Down] [Wildly Imaginative]

Note: No transmigrators take over the original characters' bodies. Three female protagonists' souls cross worlds to take up the posts of underworld deities.

Everyone knows the pilgrimage to the Western Heaven, but it was never a merit-making journey to save the world. It was an astonishing trap set by Heaven's Will, favoring the Buddhist order and laid by the gods and Buddhas working together.

Born of Heaven and Earth, the free-spirited Stone Monkey should have been carefree and unbound!

But the tightening headband crushed his pride, and the trials ground down his spirit, turning him by force into a pawn paving the way for Buddhism's rise.

Unwilling to let his sincerity go unrewarded, and refusing to accept Heaven's Will playing favorites and acting unjustly,

the three women resolutely took up divine posts in the Underworld, becoming variables beyond the board of fate.

Su Qingyan commands the judgment of cause and effect, sees through the illusions of the Three Realms, and passes judgment on the karmic sins of gods and Buddhas.

Lin Xingyue commands the laws of space, traverses the heavens and earth and the boundless cosmos, and comes and goes as she pleases.

Zhou Suisui commands the rules of time, bends the flow of the years, and overturns a destiny already set in stone.

The so-called eighty-one trials were all contrived. The so-called decrees of Heaven's Will were nothing but the selfish desires of gods and Buddhas!

One day, they will help him break free of every shackle and forever remain the carefree, unruly Monkey King of Flower-Fruit Mountain. They will also make all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens understand: the Three Realms' rules have never been theirs to decide!
