[Campus] Please Don't Die

[Ambitious little tyrant × Fake underachiever, hidden prodigy | Mutual salvation | Happy ending]

Jiang Qingle, who has long held the top spot in her grade, is knocked off her pedestal by Yu Qing, the perennial bottom of the class.

Unwilling to accept it, she runs to the homeroom teacher to report him for cheating, only to discover that he's been pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger all along.

Jiang Qingle: "I hate show-offs more than anything!"

The king of showing off catches the new homeroom teacher's eye with his first-place grades.

He gets the class monitor position, and the student representative position, too.

The former class monitor and student representative, Jiang Qingle, fumes with indignation. "Fine, give him everything! Why not just give him the whole school while you're at it!"

And so the two of them become enemies, or at least Jiang Qingle thinks so.

From then on,

The campus heartthrob skips class, and she reports him.

The campus heartthrob gets chewed out, and she watches for fun.

The campus heartthrob jumps off a building... Wait! What are you doing?!

On the school rooftop, Jiang Qingle drops to her knees and clings to him with all her strength, crying and sniffling. "Please don't die!!"

Yu Qing looks down at her, strangely amused. "Don't you hate me? Shouldn't you be happy if I die?"

Jiang Qingle: Who would be happy to watch a living person die right in front of them, anyway?!

And so... when the campus heartthrob jumps, she gets down on her knees.
