The Story of Song Li

[Transmigration Versus Rebirth + Women's Imperial Examinations + Defending Home and Country]

In the fifteenth year of Linzhi, Wen Songli, who lived in Jiangdong Town, was struck on the head and killed. Wen Songli, who had transmigrated into her body, opened her eyes to find herself surrounded by a father who beat people for a living, a mother who worked as a matchmaker, an older brother who was a thug, an older sister who loved fishing, a third brother who lived off women, a fourth brother who roamed the mountains and forests, a fifth sister who could uproot a willow tree, and herself, a deadbeat student.

In this world, women could also take the imperial examinations and become officials. Faced with a family full of people rotten to the core, Wen Songli had only one path forward.

Studying for the imperial examinations was her only way out. Even Wen Songli never expected that she would rise all the way to the very top.
