I Transmigrated into a Female-Centric Period Novel. From the Start, I Catch the Male and Female Leads Cheating

A cannon-fodder male supporting character's comeback + face-slapping the female lead + cutting into the plot early + the female lead has a System

Chen Lin had his home stolen by the old guy next door, Wang. After reading a brainless romance novel set in a bygone era, he opened his eyes and found himself transmigrated into a book as the cannon-fodder male supporting character, cast as the sleeping husband.

From the start, he's in a comatose state, while in the next room he can hear his original character's female-lead wife and a male educated youth.

Damn it, Old Wang stole my girl before I transmigrated, and now I'm supposed to let a fictional character cuckold me too? I won't stand for it!

Since I've transmigrated into a book, and I know the plot inside out, to hell with this sleeping-husband role. Since I'm here, I'll go crazy. If you won't let me sit at the table, then nobody gets to eat.

Who would have thought that the female lead in the story would have a System, along with an intelligence-lowering halo? Whenever she exerts her influence, both male and female supporting characters get dumber, become unconditionally close to her, trust her, and do whatever she says.

How am I supposed to play this? Do I really have to take on the will of the novel's world?
