Wang Zhaodi, the Village Woman

Wang Zhaodi, a mountain girl whose innocence and savings were stolen by a city man.

She became the laughingstock of the whole village. Her mother disowned her, and her grief-stricken father fell ill, sending her life to rock bottom.

On the rainiest night of her life, she collided with the umbrella of Qin Lang, a teacher sent to the countryside. This quiet man gave her a patch of clear skies.

She started with a humble stall selling pickled vegetables. With sheer determination, she stood up to bullies, tore into scumbags, and outsmarted crooked merchants.

After enduring countless hardships, she rose from a village girl trampled into the mud to a businesswoman leading the whole village to prosperity.

Those who abandoned her, looked down on her, or bullied her would all eventually bow their heads before her.
