Eyes of Ash, an Ant's Escape Through the Void

The day the Ashen Eye fell, my mother died beneath the rubble.

I picked up a stone, thinking it was just an ordinary pebble.

That is, until I saw with my own eyes the Crown Prince of the Prime Plane smile as he pushed an entire city into the abyss.

He said that ants deserved to die like ants.

He didn't know the stone against my chest was the heart of this city.

And this city wasn't quite dead yet.
