After I Returned to My Hometown to Open a Shop, He Refused to Call Me Big Sis

At thirty, Cheng Shuning quit the job she had held in Shanghai for eight years and returned to Yunjiang, where she had grown up. She took over an old storefront on Nanqiao Street and planned to open a little place that served coffee and desserts by day, and drinks and dinner at night.

On her very first day back, she ran into a man she didn't recognize.

It wasn't until he stood in front of the roller shutter and called her by name that Cheng Shuning realized who he was: Zhou Mingkai, the little tagalong from her childhood who used to follow her everywhere and never let her shake him off.

Twelve years had passed. The skinny little boy was now twenty-six, with a studio and a life of his own. He no longer needed her to take care of him.

Only Cheng Shuning still had the habit of bringing up their childhood.

"You used to do everything I said."

"That was back then."

"What, you've grown up and don't even recognize your big sister now?"

Zhou Mingkai looked at her for a moment.

"Cheng Shuning, I'm twenty-six."

As the little shop gradually got going, the old street gained its regulars, and Cheng Shuning got used to life in her hometown again.

She just never expected that she would be getting to know more than this little city all over again.

She would also be getting to know the boy who used to follow her everywhere.

This time, he didn't want to be her little brother anymore.
