A woman emperor who seems introverted but keeps dropping hilarious one-liners x a sharp-tongued, tsundere male Hunter Emperor who's secretly attentive and soft-hearted
The first rule every IVL Hunter learns when proving himself: If you never chase Morn (Dawn), you'll regret it for the rest of your life. But Ming Fansu was the only one who managed to do it. ✓
Shen Chaoying was a longtime D5 player, but because of family circumstances, she moved out after coming of age and started earning a living on her own. She never imagined that going with a friend to try out for a team would end with her getting recruited instead???
Ming Fansu, WAR's Hunter Emperor, thought this year's summer split was their best shot at winning the championship. Then, the day before the season began, a kid bumped into a teammate, who fell and injured his arm, forcing him to withdraw. It was a bitter disappointment, but it perfectly embodied the team's motto: "Set our sights on the championship, fight with our backs to the wall."
Looking at the girl staring wide-eyed at them, Ming Fansu said, "Mute?" Then she absolutely crushed him in a 1v1 match. Shen Chaoying: "Old man?"
No one expected these two, who were at each other's throats the moment they met, to support one another in the days ahead. During hard times, they would lick each other's wounds like two injured kittens, and eventually go on to win the championship alongside their teammates.
Shen Chaoying never expected that she would go from accompanying a friend to try out for the team to becoming a professional player, winning a championship, and competing at the Asian Games.
Shen Chaoying: "When everyone tells you that you can't do it, come play Shortcoming Showdown."
Ming Fansu: "If you never chase Morn, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Now I have no regrets :) The king has favored me."
There's only one thing Ming Fansu believes in: being lovestruck is the best dowry a man can bring. Young Hunter Emperor: "What do I do when my girlfriend is like an evil little cat?"
