The Pact of the Haunted Domain

When eerie threads, like the strings controlling a puppet, bind your arms, death is already close at hand.

This is a land abandoned by the gods, a veritable paradise for the uncanny. When horrors sweep across the earth and devour every living thing, who can save the world?

There is a band of half-human, half-uncanny "bandits." They wear Nuo masks, tread on Dao discs, and bear contracts with uncanny servants. With talismans and heavenly scriptures, they fight the tide of horrors, protecting others, seizing life, and destroying the Dao.

They are conjurers, toying with the horrors that fill the sky. They are practitioners of the arts, yet the path they cultivate is a deadly uncanny one. But the world calls them the "Uncanny Adepts."
