Yinshanyu is a village that has been erased from modern maps. Every year on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, the whole village holds a strange ceremony called "Exchange of Life" - a "death game" is shown to the outside world through a live broadcast platform, and the amount of rewards from the audience determines who will be the next "sacrifice". The protagonist accidentally enters this place and becomes the "prey" in the live broadcast, only to find that the whole village is waiting for his death, because his death will allow all villagers to gain "immortality."
