The Myriad Words Realm

In ancient times, there were no words, and heaven and earth were silent. The first living being, "Da Yin," spoke the first word. And so mountains became mountains, rivers became rivers, and all things came into existence through being named. From then on, speaking became a form of cultivation.

The rules of this world are simple: those who speak the truth swear their way to sainthood, while those who lie become saints by making their lies come true. The two paths of cultivation, truth and lies, have waged a thousand-year holy war over one question: Was the world created by the truth, or by a lie?

Gu Jiuyan was born in the remote town of Huanghou, on the outskirts of the Way of Truth. The Word-Test Stone exploded when it saw him, the Oath Altar rejected his vows, and the Office of Lie Detection could not tell whether he was telling the truth or lying. He was recognized by the whole world as a "leaky-speech constitution": no one believed him when he told the truth, and everything he said as a lie came true. Neither school would accept him as a cultivator.

Until, at the age of fifteen, he discovered that he could see words floating in the air. Every word someone spoke could be changed by him, one character at a time.

"I want you out of Huanghou."

He changed it to: "I beg you on my knees to stay."

The strongest person in town dropped to his knees before him on the spot.

From then on, a new rule was added to the world: before you speak, check whether Gu Jiuyan is there.

He changed sentences, spells, contracts, names, the heavens, and fate, turning "other people's words" into "the main text of the world."

Until he discovered that this world itself was a book.

And he was the drop of ink that had accidentally fallen onto the page as the author put pen to paper. Cultivation realms
