Shen Wuyuan was once a giant of the modern cultivation world. After his ascension failed, he transmigrated to a high-martial Tang Dynasty, bringing with him the demonic treasure, the Human Emperor Banner.
When he opened his eyes, he had become a lowly guard in the Eastern Palace, just in time for the blood-soaked Xuanwu Gate Incident.
The Crown Prince was dead, rebels surrounded the city, and all hope was lost?
At that very moment, the God-Tier Historical Sign-In System awakened!
[Sign-in at Xuanwu Gate successful. Reward: Nine Suns Divine Art. Human Emperor Banner unsealed!]
Facing an army of thousands, Shen Wuyuan gave a cold laugh and brought out the Human Emperor Banner, vast enough to blot out the sky.
The prince who had plotted rebellion was horrified. This was really just an Eastern Palace guard?
The enemy nation's grandmaster wailed in despair. Why were all the evil spirits in his banner legendary generals from the ages?
Shen Wuyuan had no interest in mortal imperial power. He casually put the frail, pitiful Princess Jinyang on the throne, then withdrew behind the scenes to cultivate immortality.
Years passed, and dynasties rose and fell.
Whether the Turkic cavalry rode south or martial immortals plunged the world into chaos, anyone who dared threaten the Tang Dynasty was crushed with a single finger, their souls drawn into the banner.
Countless years later, the Tang Dynasty's borders stretched across the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands, and the entire nation ascended.
By then, Shen Wuyuan's Human Emperor Banner was already filled with legendary generals, foreign khans, and earthly immortals, making it the most feared forbidden treasure in all the myriad worlds.
Who wants to watch it?
