In a parallel world, on Blue Star, the protagonist Mu Tong is a typical overworked corporate drone, stuck working from nine in the morning until nine at night. One morning, he buys a cup of fried dough sticks and a stick of soy milk. After a full day at work, he discovers seven stars shining in the sky. Then, all sorts of inexplicable things appear in his mind. A new era is about to begin. Native animals mutate, ancient mythical beasts emerge, and humanity teeters on the brink of destruction. In the apocalypse, the protagonist leads his team in hunting mythical creatures to win humanity a sliver of hope. (I borrowed the names of the Northern Seven Stars, which have little to do with the traditional Big Dipper. I mainly chose them because they sound nice.)
