Gu Changchuan, the former commander of the Black Banner Battalion, was discharged after losing a leg. Back in his hometown, he is publicly humiliated by local tyrants, then learns that the lost territory of Chisha Ridge has been turned into an outpost by the Northern Di cavalry.
