On the seventh night after the red moon rose, the city died.
Yu Xing was a psychiatrist. He watched his patient bite through a neighbor's throat in his office, and watched himself write a line of bloody words in the mirror that he couldn't remember writing.
He thought he was going crazy.
Until he saw those words in an old file left by his father:
"The Red Moon Project isn't a natural disaster. It's an invitation. We are remnants of the previous civilization. And he is Container Zero."
A harvest that came once every seven hundred years. A higher-dimensional civilization tending its flock. He was the only key that could open the "Moon Hollow."
And the voice in his head that had kept him company through three days of the apocalypse was his father, dead for three years.
