Qin Yan is a livestreamer who relies on information searches, close attention to detail, and a carefully cultivated on-camera persona. After the death of teacher Xu Bonian, his lawyer leaves Qin Yan 100,000 yuan and a request to enter Changming Welfare Home, closed for many years, and find Xu’s daughter, Xu Zhiwei, who disappeared eighteen years ago. On the night of the livestream, Qin Yan finds Xu Zhiwei’s body inside the wall of Room 208.
