After his soul entered the body of the illegitimate second young master in the romance novel Lost in Obsession, Yan Ting became a character whose name barely mattered. The original owner had been trampled into the dirt by the legitimate young master at every turn, and ultimately met his end in a fire.
The moment he opened his eyes, his half-brother Yan Yanzhi kicked down the door and demanded to know where the novel's love interest was. Water was thrown on him, and insult after insult followed. But Yan Ting countered with a polished bit of professional rhetoric, leaving the bodyguards speechless. Then he calmly brushed his teeth and asked for honey water, freezing the interrogation scene in its tracks.
He's the only one in the Yan family with that trump card. This time, the backup love interest will write his own script.
