His imperial father threw him into a sect when he was seven. He cultivated bitterly for twelve years, all so his mother consort could hold her head high in the palace.
He gave his whole heart to his senior sister, granted his junior sisters' every request, treated the sect as his home and his fellow disciples as family.
Then the junior brother's maid died, and everyone said the same thing: he killed her.
The eldest senior sister crippled his cultivation, the second senior sister trampled on him, and the third watched coldly from the sidelines.
Not one of his five junior sisters spoke up for him.
He knelt before the sect master. "I didn't kill her."
The sect master said, "You wretch, you've disappointed me so much."
She shattered his dantian with a single palm strike and dragged him out of the mountain gate like a dead dog.
Lying in a pool of blood, he heard his junior brother say softly, "Fourth Senior Brother, I'll gladly take that divine bone inside you."
He died.
Then he woke up.
A soul from another world had taken over his body, inheriting all his resentment and fury.
"Damn," said the soul. "Twelve years, and you raised a pack of ungrateful wretches? Fine. I'll kill the people you didn't dare to kill. I'll do what you couldn't bring yourself to do. I'll avenge you. I'll protect your mother consort. And your master, I'll help you... see what kind of person she really is."
He stood up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and walked back to the mountain gate.
Everyone thought he was dead.
Everyone thought a cripple could never come back.
But he came back.
With a ruthlessness that didn't belong to this world, with twelve years of patience from his past life, and with the divine bone within him beginning to awaken.
This time, he hadn't come back to beg for mercy.
He had come back to collect what he was owed.
One by one, those who owed him would pay. One by one, those who had harmed him would kneel. One by one, those who had betrayed him would... regret it for the rest of their lives.
It's still a good read
Very good. The logic is not confusing. Zhuangzi talks too much. I actually don't like Zhuangzi, but if he talks more and is more personified, he may feel better.
Looks very good
