The Reluctant Idle Emperor

Li Chengyang, a modern-day 996 wage slave, dies from overwork and is reborn as an unwanted grandson of Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, in his later years. He has no System. His only cheat is knowledge from a more advanced age and a silver tongue that can make black sound white. A modern man who just wants to lie flat gets caught up in the cutthroat imperial power struggles of ancient times. Using modern thinking to find a roundabout way to save the country, he is ultimately "forced" to become an eccentric wise ruler.
