[Rebirth] [Entrepreneurship] [Huaqiangbei] [Mobile Phone Technology] [Chips] [Global Business Wars]
In 2007, Huaqiangbei was in the midst of a sweeping transformation.
Chen Xing wakes up to find himself back in the year his family's small electronics factory is on the brink of bankruptcy.
Burdened with debt, the factory shut down, and relatives at the door demanding repayment, everyone is waiting for his family to collapse for good.
In his previous life, he witnessed China's electronics industry fight its way from rampant knockoffs to the global stage. He spent half his life on it, yet couldn't change many of his regrets.
Reborn, he has no System, only years of industry experience etched into his bones and memories of the technological waves that will sweep the next few decades.
While others churn out shoddy copies of knockoff phones, he modifies the hardware, adding powerful speakers, ultra-long battery life, and support for multiple SIM cards, creating bestselling models that blow the competition away.
He snaps up supplies in Huaqiangbei, stakes out his place in the supply chain, and builds his initial capital at a breakneck pace by riding the wave of the times.
Starting from a tiny assembly plant on the verge of closure, he sheds the knockoff label, breaks into the smartphone market, tackles the chip bottleneck, and builds a complete technology ecosystem.
He crushes Nokia and Samsung, and takes on overseas tech giants head-to-head.
From humble beginnings, he builds an electronics empire for China and steadily conquers the world!
The plot is too clumsy, the business war with a small boss is grinding, and the entire Huaqiangbei is dominated by the main character and a guy named Liu making functional phones. The plot is even stupider later on, short-selling the protagonist's company's supply chain? What kind of plot can Dasha Chun come up with? Do you know how big the entire Shenzhen functional machine industry chain is? Do you know MediaTek's chip output? There is a port in Shenzhen, so export through Hong Kong? If you catch a "thief", don't call the police. Instead, notify all counter owners in Huaqiangbei that they have money to use.
Well written, a breath of fresh air.
