1. Ji Chu's true form is a tree, with no gender. She prefers a female form most of the time, and likes to go easy on herself while holding others to strict standards.
2. Ji Chu has many clones, and even uses a clone to undergo tribulation. Some clones have romantic pairings, but the main character herself does not.
3. Ji Chu's disciple, Song Zhiyi, is a transmigrator. She's a bit of a lovestruck fool, but will become an excellent graduate of the Path of Ruthlessness.
4. This is an unconventional cultivation novel. It will also feature various small worlds later on, in a style similar to quick transmigration.
