Luo Wanshu regrets it. She should never have agreed to pretend to be the Prince of the Manor's beloved just for money. Now she's stuck begging for food and shoveling manure alongside him! Luckily, she's the fearsome female demon everyone dreads. She only pretended to be frail because she was injured and hiding from her pursuers, and for now she just has to play the part of a pair of doomed lovers with the spoiled young prince for a few days. Once she's healed, she'll kick this sharp-tongued, irritating man to the curb!
But it turns out the prince isn't the useless wastrel everyone curses. He once saw a beloved family member beheaded, and his heart turned to ashes. He didn't want to go to war, so he disguised himself as a fallen wastrel.
Yet on that day, when he saw the people being surrounded and attacked, he could have turned and fled. Instead, he gripped his spear and strode through the sea of flames, fearlessly slaughtering the enemy!
Watching the people suffer, watching him drenched in blood as he fought to protect them, Luo Wanshu had been hiding in the crowd and pretending to be afraid. Now, she silently reveals her secret identity, appearing like a god to save the people under everyone's stunned gaze.
Tremble, the female demon is switching to her true form! Who could possibly keep her in check?
