Lin Lang, a top research genius from Blue Star, was transported to another world after an accident during a negative-energy experiment. When he awoke, he found himself the leader of a rundown sect with just twelve disciples.
Worse still, this body had become a corpse fiend hated by everyone.
"Master, evil spirits must be killed!" his disciples cried indignantly.
Lin Lang smiled and nodded. "Well said. They must be killed."
A great sect comes to bully them and swallow up the Xiaoyao Sect? Lin Lang puts on a secret identity and descends as a celestial judge. "You ants think you can lay a hand on my people?" he declares, scaring the other sect leader into kneeling and begging for mercy.
A disciple asks, "Master, who was that heavenly lord?"
Lin Lang calmly sips his tea. "A reclusive master of our sect. Don't panic!"
He teaches his disciples to optimize cultivation techniques with mathematical formulas and derive the flow of spiritual energy using principles of mechanics. Each time he teaches a student something, the System rewards him with an absurdly powerful art.
As he keeps teaching, he discovers that he has become invincible.
His students hate evil spirits most of all, yet their most beloved Master is the strongest evil spirit in the world.
"If one day you learn the truth..."
"Then I hope that by that day, you'll be strong enough to choose to forgive me."
