The Law Thief: If the Rules Don’t Forbid It, I Can Steal It

When the Great Laws descend upon the world, everyone awakens to a unique "Law" at the age of eighteen: some command fire, some read minds, and some can reverse time by a single second.

The Law Shen Du awakens is the lowliest of them all: [Theft].

At the same time, global secret realms open in cycles with the "lunar tide." Each secret realm is a self-contained rules-based horror scenario: whatever is written in black and white is law, and anyone who breaks it dies. The dungeon boss is the embodiment of the rules themselves.

No one knows that "Theft" is the world's only second-order Prime Law. It doesn't act upon all things, only upon **who owns the rules**.

As all the awakened struggle to survive in the cracks between the rules, he quietly transfers one murderous rule after another into his own name, right from beneath the noses of the collapsing secret realms.

He thinks he's just a thief taking advantage of the chaos.

Until the bosses he has stolen tell him: in this world, for beings sentenced to death by the rules, only a "thief" can take them away.
