Three Kingdoms: Li Yunlong's Soul Transmigrates Into Zhang Yan, Building Up the Black Mountain Army

The story follows Li Yunlong after he is badly wounded by a bomb fired by Chu Yunfei's forces during the battle at Cangyun Ridge. By chance, Li Yunlong's soul transmigrates to the early Three Kingdoms period.

He transmigrates into the body of Zhang Yan, leader of a rebel army. Leading the Black Mountain Army, he repeatedly evades the imperial forces' pursuit, waging an armed peasant struggle across the vast Taihang Mountains and northwestern Shanxi as he builds up his strength. He then takes part in pivotal battles such as the campaign of the Eighteen Route Lords against Dong Zhuo and the Battle of Guandu, gradually carving out a domain in the north. But as the Black Mountain Army grows in power, Li Yunlong discovers that his old rival Chu Yunfei has also transmigrated, into Lü Bu's body. After years of conflict and mutual aid, the two finally put their feud aside with a laugh and join forces to establish the mightiest empire of the age.
