Su Che, a chief emergency physician, dies suddenly of a heart attack and wakes up as an orphan in 1965, in Courtyard Number 95 on Nanluoguxiang. His grandfather left behind half of the Classic of the Green Satchel Acupuncture, nine silver needles, and a spiritual field spanning three mu in the palm of his hand. The steel mill gives him grief, the whole courtyard plots against him, and the Jia family tries to freeload off his room. He neither argues nor makes a fuss. One needle is all it takes to shut Director Qian up, send Yi Zhonghai into a meltdown, and have the whole courtyard scrambling to book appointments. From tonight on, the lights in the courtyard never go out again.
Good book worth recommending
