Chen Man transmigrated into Water Margin with barely a few coins in his pocket, so he went back to his old trade and started selling Northeast-style boxed meals outside the capital, Dongjing.
He served generous portions of stew and rice, and his hand never shook when dishing up.
When Lu Zhishen came by for the first time and saw a bowl piled high with food, he reached out to stop him.
"Boss, I only paid for one serving."
"I know. I haven't even added the side dishes yet."
Later, Lin Chong became a regular, Liangshan sent in a huge order, and Chen Man even earned himself a nickname: the Full-Belly King.
Ye Qing took care of the grain accounts while he watched the stove. It looked like life was finally starting to come together.
But Chen Man remembered exactly how these regulars ended up in the book.
Watching them eat with bowls in hand, he just couldn't pretend not to know what was coming.
He had to find a way to make sure the people who came to eat today could come back next year.
In the grand story of Water Margin, the author describes many ordinary, flesh-and-blood little people. Life is hard, but people always have to eat. Money is saved slowly, and hope must be there. I hope that the King of Satiety will have his own big hotel soon 😄 Master Lu is really very good, he is eager for justice, his force value is high enough, and he feels safe enough. The most important thing is that even if you have no connection or acquaintance with him, if you have any grievance or injustice, Master Lu will definitely take action!! 😎 Mrs. Lin is also very good. My impression of Water Margin comes from the TV series. Through the author's words, Mrs. Lin is not the weak victim in my impression. She is organized, meticulous and thoughtful. She turns out to be such a capable person. The author's descriptions are very warm. The rivers and lakes are not only about fighting and killing, but also about firewood, rice, oil and salt. Thousands of people ask questions. It may make the overall reading more life-like. I recommend it to readers who like to read farming articles 🤭🤭
Works that only taste good if you slow down and watch them
I like this setting, and I hope the author can give good endings to my favorite heroes, Lu Zhishen, Lin Chong, and my favorite woman, Li Shishi!
Plain and simple is the truth
