This book takes the Eight Kings Rebellion of the Western Jin Dynasty as the core and completely restores the most brutal royal internal struggle in Chinese history: Sima Yan destroyed Wu and unified the world in 280 AD. However, this unified Western Jin Dynasty only lasted for 37 years and quickly collapsed. The root cause was a series of civil strife caused by the seizure of power by clan kings.
The book is divided into three volumes:
·Starting from the critical illness of Emperor Wu of the Jin Dynasty, Sima Yan, and the controversy over the appointment of the heir, it reveals the undercurrent of power among the imperial power, relatives, clan, and noble families in the prosperous era of the Western Jin Dynasty.
