When Shao Ling opens his eyes, he finds himself sitting in an unfamiliar classroom. The teacher is taking attendance, there's a figure outside the window, and there's someone in class who looks exactly like him.
Even worse, he's awakened an ability that seems anything but serious: [Character Breakdown].
In a horror story, you're supposed to run when you encounter a ghost. Shao Ling refuses. When a female ghost blocks the door, he starts twisting his hips on the spot. When a vengeful spirit comes after him, he leads a group of people in a madcap run for their lives.
While everyone else desperately searches for clues, afraid they'll turn out to be expendable cannon fodder who could die at any moment, Shao Ling gradually realizes that these so-called horror dungeons seem to be trying to force them into a story that's already been written.
[Victim] [Murderer] [Important Supporting Character] [Protagonist]...
The more important your role, the more you appear in the story, and the sooner you might die. If that's the case, then... Shao Ling looked at the horror story waiting to reach its climax.
