Exiled to the Common Folk: A Four-Year-Old Cutie Sets the Rules for Her Family

[Exile] [Farming] [Everyday Life] [Adorable Kids] [Beloved by All] [No Romance]

After becoming Wu Zetian's granddaughter, four-year-old Li Guo'er felt miserable. Her whole family kept imagining that Grandmother Wu Zetian still had some affection for them. Taking advantage of their status as imperial relatives, they continued to misbehave and torment the neighbors even after being exiled, bullying men and women, stealing chickens, and committing all sorts of petty crimes.

Li Guo'er was at her wits' end. She didn't want to be dragged down by her family and die young!

She decided to set rules for the whole family and turn them from villains into good people! All of you, go farm properly and live like country folk. Stop dreaming up wild schemes.

Grandmother Wu Zetian, well, our family isn't interested in the throne. My grandfather is senile and can't be emperor, and my brothers never went to school out here in the countryside, so they're all illiterate and can't be crown princes. Please don't say you're nearly seventy. You clearly look eighteen. And if you think you don't have enough male companions in your harem, we can find you a few more. Niu Erdan and Sun Dazhuang, whom your granddaughter knows from the village, seem pretty good.

To stay alive, Li Guo'er pulled out all the stops. She laid down dozens of rules and enforced them with a stick, flattered Grandmother Wu Zetian, and did everything she could to please her cousin, the boy Longji.

Li Guo'er: Is it easy being me? o(︶︿︶)o
