Beloved White-Flower Female Lead x Fastidious, Cool Male Lead
Nuonuo, a cat from the 21st century, loved basking in the sun, sleeping in, and watching palace intrigue dramas with her owner.
But when she woke up, she had been transported to ancient times and become Lu Shanchu, the Lu family's fourth young lady.
She can't speak at three? No problem. This kitty just doesn't feel like talking.
She's been summoned to the palace for the selection? No problem, as long as there's plenty of dried fish.
A fight for favor in the harem? Sorry, this kitty just wants to eat well and sleep soundly.
Lu Shanchu, who wants no part in worldly affairs, somehow coasts her way from an obscure young lady of the Lu family to Imperial Consort, all by a series of unlikely twists of fate.
Even more surprising, the aloof Emperor Quan Xu, who had always been a master planner, goes from testing and mistrusting her to indulging and favoring her, until he falls for her completely.
He can direct the empire and keep his court in check, but there's one person he can't handle: she doesn't compete for his favor or care for power and wealth... There's simply no way to win her over.
The entire court says the Imperial Consort is unfathomable.
Lu Shanchu is thinking: I love this sun. Which side should I bask on today?
